Had a birthday party at hop and crystal the event coordinator was amazing !! She made the process super smooth and easy getting us the party menu the same day I called. The food was delicious and the service was cheerful, attentive and memorable! We will be back soon for the live music
Went here just to check out something in Staten Island. Bartenders were great (granted it wasn't that busy, not sure what it's like when it gets busy.) There are many arcade games to play, and I'm disappointed that my party didn't get to play games, but next time. Decent selection of beers on tap (i think ~20). It's bar/diner food. We got a few different things, the tacos, bacon cheese tots, mac & cheese with chicken (we were a little disappointed in that) and a few other things...it was all pretty alright. We had some beers, and cocktails off the menu with an added twist. The other guests there were nice and we all had some random conversations. If/when I go back, I'm definitely going to check out the games...
Great little place. High quality pub food, and really good service. Will definitely be back for the next 4 years, while my son is at Wagner
I appreciate how they go all out in the theme, but a bit pricey for my tastes. Go for the vibes, stay for the pool!
We have driven by this place a million times and decided to visit it yesterday. The place looks small from the outside, but it's very big inside. In all, there were four separate areas..the bar at the front with some seating, then an open area where a band was setting up, then a dining area with tables, and all the way in the back, a play room with old school pin ball machines and arcade games. So nostalgic. There were cassette tapes and a large boom box up on the wall, colorful graffiti with Wu-Tang quotes, and Pac Man murals all around the room. We didn't stay long at all, just had a couple of drinks, but will be coming back when we have more time.
We went here on a last minute decision on a Saturday night. No wait, friendly waitress and food arrived quickly. We all ordered different versions of burgers and they were delicious. For apps we ordered the cauliflower and mozzarella sticks. Also delicious. The meal was reasonably priced and after we ate, we played some video games for nostalgia. There is a bar in the front, we ate in the back. Definitely suitable to take kids, fun atmosphere. Side note, not the greatest neighborhood and their is no parking lot but we did not have a problem finding parking. We will be back
I been here a few times and did my birthday get together here! The staff was amazing and helped every step of the way to the days leading up to the day and day of. The door is amazing! The drinks are always on point. The staff is very understanding and just wonderful, I would definitely do another party here.
We had a GREAT experience for my son’s 16th birthday at Hop Shoppe! From the start, planning was so easy because our planner/server Crystal listened and worked with us. She helped make our vision come alive and was even more amazing the day of the party. We had all of my son’s favorite foods including milkshakes and sliders which were great! At the end my my son guest told me they had great time. The arcades and pool table were a hit too
